The customer

Our customer is a non-profit association providing medical services for cancer patients. Its main objective is to raise funds for developing the oncological medical services needed for diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients.

The challenge

The patients who benefit of free oncological treatment under continuous hospitalisation needed modern, comfortable and ergonomic admission conditions. This could be done by replacing the old set of hospital furniture: beds, mattresses and nightstands – physically and morally worn out, with a new set of electrical beds – with 3 functions, impermeable mattresses and new nightstands. In addition to the financial contribution of our client, a fundraising project was submitted to Fundația Comunitară Timișoara – the organisers, along with Alergotura, of Timotion 2019.

The solution

Along with the client we have identified the solution of participating to the biggest charitable mass running event in Timișoara: Timotion. HUNTER Solutions wrote the application and managed the entire participation of the client to this fundraising project, including communication & PR activities, managing the relation withe the partners, generating content, logistics and reporting. At the end of the project we managed to raise an amount that exceeded with 20% the targeted amount.

The key figures of the project were: 720 donations, 18 sets of electrical beds – with 3 functions, impermeable mattresses and new nightstands – instead of 15, as we have first planned; champions and 5 ambassadors that supported our project, 5 press releases launched, 35 published press articles, 42 posts on social media and 4235 likes.

Above all, along with our client we are thrilled that we have experienced the strong and mature support of the community, learning that only together we can help the cancer patients and develop meaningful projects that have a real impact on society.
