Our client is a global player in the plastics industry, with more than 100 years history. Its Romanian branch opened the door to its customers in Eastern Europe in 2007 and it manufactures precision plastic parts and complex assembly units to the same quality standard as in German plants on an area of 6,500 m2.
The client wanted to embed the organisational culture within their Romanian business, achieving awareness and individual ownership across the organisation.
The project was delivered in partnership with Baumann Management. We have conducted an initial analysis of the situation, followed by a presentation of the proposal to the management team, gaining approval and support. We have created a 3 level approach: level 1 – “I want to know” where information was spread, by top management, to the entire group of employees, via a town hall meeting. During the level 2 phase – “I want to feel” we have conducted a series of tailored workshop dedicated to the employees at all levels, where the elements of the organisational culture were explained, deconstructed and behaviours to support the organisational culture were identified. During the level 3 phase – “I want to participate”, group activities were organised to integrate the core values and to get behavioural response.
Our approach was based on interactivity and as much conversation as possible. Progress was tracked via the feed back collected, which demonstrated the positive impact of the project had on the employees. We’re looking forward to continuing the roll out with this vibrant organisation.
